What is Microblading?
Microblading, also known as eyebrow embroidery, is the manual method of cosmetic tattooing using a hand tool. Fine semi permanent hair strokes are created by depositing pigment under the skin to create natural looking eyebrows.

I offer an intense, comprehensive course covering a full syllabus of theory and the practical use of a microblading hand tool.
If you are new to cosmetic tattooing it is important that you build your knowledge base in addition to learning the skills needed for the application of this treatment. Without the underpinning knowledge you will not be able to offer your clients the professional treatment they deserve so it is important to choose a course that is going to set you up for a good career in this fabulous treatment.

1:1 training
Course content:
3 day Microblading course covers hairstroke technique to give beautiful natural brows.
Theory will be carried out prior to attending the practical course. This will be done with manuals and videos and include:
- Health & safety
- Structure of the skin and skin tones
- Allergies and contra-indications
- Skin diseases and disorders
- Understanding pigments
- Understanding colours
- Brow shapes and brow mapping
- Different hair stroke patterns
- Client consultation
- Understanding different microblade tools and needles
Practical itinery:
Day 1: drawing techniques and work on fake skin
Day 2: brow mapping and client work
Day 3: client work
Case studies
Following the course you will be expected to carry out 5 case studies in your own time with client consultation paperwork and treatment records + before and after pictures. Your case study portfolio will be presented to the academy and form part of the assessment process.
You will receive post training support and mentoring by email, text or phone for as long as you require it.
Insurance
My training courses follow the National Occupational Standards set out by HABIA and are validated by Holistic Services Insurance and accredited with ABT Associated Beauty Therapists. Insurance cover is available from both companies for my courses.

The training academy is situated close to Biggleswade in Bedfordshire. It has ample private parking and for those who live too far to travel every day there is very reasonably priced local B&B. The nearest railway station is Biggleswade.
